ALL ART CLASSES ARE HELD AT

Suite 2, 173-175 Pacific Hwy, Charlestown NSW

Public car parking can be found behind Charlestown Library and surrounding streets. We offer a supervised drop off and pickup service for classes between 4 and 6:30pm on library lane using the rear entry to our studio.  Contact us for more information.

Nestled in the buzz of Pacific Highway, our new purpose-built Art Studio provides students with a vibrant environment that nurtures creativity and fosters artistic exploration. It’s more than a workspace, its a hub for artistic growth and inspiration.

Our Art Teachers have designed a functional space that incorporates 2 studio spaces, a wet area and gallery wall for showcasing student work, encouraging motivation and pride.

Floor to ceiling windows flood the reception area, providing an inviting atmoshphere for parents and carers to relax during their child’s class. Alternatively, its only a 5 minute walk to Charlestown Square where you can grab a coffee or get a quick shop done.

OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Our teaching philosophy prioritises fundamental skills, emphasizes the importance of mastering the building blocks of artistic practice as a foundation for future creative exploration.

This approach recognizes that technical proficiency in areas such as drawing, shading, color theory, composition, and perspective equips students with the tools they need to express their ideas effectively.

By focusing on structured, skill-based learning, students develop confidence in their abilities and gain a deep understanding of the techniques and principles that underpin all forms of art.

This philosophy does not dismiss creativity but views it as a natural progression once students have a solid grasp of the fundamentals. It encourages a disciplined, step-by-step learning process, where students build their knowledge and refine their skills through repetition, observation, and guided practice.

By providing clear objectives, constructive feedback, and opportunities to apply their skills in structured projects, this approach ensures that students have the technical mastery required to innovate and create with intention and precision when they are ready to explore more personal and expressive forms of art.
