Fine Art School

Hi! Welcome to our beautiful art studio in Charlestown.

Founded in 2011 by Vanessa Lynch, Hive Art Studio is proudly 100% local and women-owned. Built by a creative Mum, for families, and supported by a community that believes in the positive power of creative arts.

We are a team of artists who love nothing more than sharing our passion for art with the next generation of artists.

Our art program has been carefully refined over the years to offer a balance of high-quality skills based instruction alongside creative expression, exploration and experimentation.

At each age and stage we help our students to  master foundational skills that match their age and ability, giving them a strong artistic base.

Whether it’s drawing, painting, sculpture or mixed media, our focus is to bring the joy of art making to every class, creating an inspiring environment where students of all levels can thrive and flourish in their artistic journey.

Come meet us at the studio! We’re here every week day during business hours before we start teaching at 4.
